How much are the annuity payments?
Gift annuity payments are fixed at the time the annuity is funded. The exact payment amount depends on the value of the asset given and the age of the annuitant (the person receiving the payments) at the time the annuity is funded. Generally, the older you are when you fund your gift annuity, the higher your payments will be.
Who stands behind the payments?
CRISTA Ministries. A charitable gift annuity is a contract between the donor and the charitable organization issuing the gift annuity. As such, it is a general obligation of CRISTA Ministries and is backed by the available assets of our organization.
How is my annuity rate determined?
CRISTA Ministries generally follows the rate guidelines established by the American Council on Gift Annuities. The older the annuitant(s), the higher the payout rate.
Will my annuity payments ever change?
No. Regardless of changes in the economy, your annuity payment amount will never vary. That means income you can count on for as long as you need it.
