While not at the level classification of “Black Tie,” “Formal attire” does signify a level of fancier attire and elegant style in comparison to a “Semi-Formal” event.

For WOMEN, “Formal” attire could be a floor-length gown or dress. Fancy dresses that are long, but not fully floor-length are also common and appropriate, as is the combination of dressy slacks and a blouse. Stylish footwear options such as pumps or heels can be paired with these attire options at formal events.

For MEN, “Formal” attire means donning a dark-colored suit paired with a white dress shirt, a long tie or bow tie, and dark-colored dress shoes. Black or dark tuxedos are also commonly worn by male attendees. However, if a suit or sport jacket are not possible as options, a buttoned dress shirt and tie is a common alternative.

Meydenbauer Center is located at 11100 NE 6th St. in downtown Bellevue. It’s conveniently located near I-405, the Link Light Rail Line 2, and the Bellevue Transit Center.

Yes, complimentary parking is available in the Meydenbauer Center garage, which can be accessed on NE 6th Street. We encourage guests to carpool, as the garage is limited to 430 cars. You may also park in non-validated overflow lots in the surrounding area. For driving directions, click here for a map.

Meydenbauer Center is an ADA-compliant venue. Elevators and escalators are on the building’s north and south sides. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the parking garage and entrances to guide you as you arrive. The event will take place on the ground floor. Restrooms are at the lobby’s north end, as well as inside the ballroom opposite the entry doors.

As our guests arrive, the volume in the lobby and ballroom will get louder. Music will play at mid-volume before and after the program. If you are joining us from out of town, there are a variety of great options in downtown Bellevue to stay the night. We have listed several accommodations near the Meydenbauer Center, however please feel free to reserve a room where you feel most comfortable.
