We are proud to announce that King’s High School has been listed as one of the best private high schools in the Seattle area.
Stacker compiled a list of the best private high schools in the Seattle metro area using data from Niche, a website that gives extensive reviews and admissions tips for private schools and colleges. Niche uses seven weighted factors for its rankings. A majority of the score is based on academics, but other factors include culture and diversity; sports; clubs and activities; resources; and surveys of parents, teachers, and students.
King’s Schools received a Niche grade of “A.” In total, with students in preschool through twelfth grade, it has 1,346 students with a 16:1 student ratio. There are 96 students in the senior class this year, with 91% attending a four-year college next year. Others are choosing to attend community college and pursue trades.
Among those heading to four-year universities:
- 37% will attend Christian colleges such as Biola, Grand Canyon, Northwest, Pepperdine, and Seattle Pacific University.
- 47% are venturing out of state to explore new opportunities.
- 11% will attend highly selective universities, including Columbia, Stanford, Notre Dame, Pomona, and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
- 11 seniors will attend the University of Washington in Seattle.
Eight seniors were signed as collegiate athletes in sports including football, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, track & field, and women’s beach volleyball.
At King’s, we are committed to building resilient disciples of Christ. We are excited to see how the Class of 2025 will impact the world through their talents and values.
