The incredible transformation taking place around the world through World Concern was celebrated last Sunday night at the 2016 Transform Gala, hosted at Fremont Studios in Seattle.
“What an incredible night of celebration!” World Concern stated through their Facebook page. “God did immeasurably more than we could have imagined at [this year’s] Transform Gala!”
Thanks to overwhelming generosity of those in attendance, a life-changing $684,329 was raised to reach and impact the lives of 20,737 people living in the poorest places, through the work of World Concern.
The evening showcased the incredible, difficult work taking place in the most remote places in the world through digital media such as virtual reality goggles that gave a 360 degrees look into villages and classrooms, powerful films highlighting the three pillars of World Concern, and a message of hope and pressing need from World Concern President Jacinta Tegman.
