CRISTA Ministries has announced the appointment of Jordan Gage as the next Head of School at King’s. Gage will return to King’s after serving in various teaching, coaching, and administrator roles at the school for seven years beginning in 2013. Since 2020, he has served as Superintendent at Northshore Christian Academy (PreK-Grade 8) in Everett.
Gage will lead King’s Preschool, Elementary, Junior High, and High School as Head of School and CRISTA Vice President in his new role. He will succeed Erick Streelman, who is departing King’s at the conclusion of the current school year to return home to Southern California. Gage will officially rejoin King’s during the week of June 12-16, just before the end of the 2022-2023 academic year.
Gage has earned a reputation as a highly respected educational leader in the region over the last 15 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Western State College of Colorado, along with a master’s degree in educational administration and Washington State Principal’s Residency Certificate from Western Washington University. In his previous tenure with King’s, Gage’s leadership attributes were routinely tapped to benefit all ministries within the CRISTA Family (King’s, World Concern, CRISTA Media, CRISTA Senior Living, and CRISTA Camps). Upon starting his new role, Gage will report directly to CRISTA Chief Executive Officer Jacinta Tegman.
Stated Tegman: “On behalf of the CRISTA Family and King’s community, we are filled with gratitude and anticipation at the opportunity to welcome Jordan Gage back as our next Head of School. He is a visionary leader whose passion for Christian education will bless our students, teachers, staff, and this great community.”
Stated Gage: “I could not be more excited to return to King’s and continue the legacy of impacting families, communities and culture through educating student leaders who have been transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. King’s is a renowned leader in Christian education, and I am humbled at the privilege to step into the Head of School role. I cannot wait to get started.”
King’s Schools is approaching its 75th anniversary in 2024. It is the largest single-campus Christian school in the state of Washington.
