Knight’s alumnus & NBA star, Corey Kispert, will be back at King’s Schools on Wednesday, December 20, to retire #24 and meet his hometown fans!

As a junior at King’s, Kispert led the team to their second straight state title and was named the MVP of the State Championship Tournament. Rated a four-star recruit, Kispert committed to play college basketball at Gonzaga after his junior season.

At Gonzaga, Kispert played in all 35 games with seven starts as a freshman and became a starter for the Bulldogs in his sophomore season. He entered his junior season on the Julius Erving Award  watchlist and as Gonzaga’s only returning starter from the previous year. During Kispert’s senior year at Gonzaga, he was named Senior Class First Team All-American. Kispert was one of 5 players nationally to make the first team and receive the national honor for achievement in the classroom, community, character, and competition. He was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week and played in the NCAA Final Four. Following the season, Kispert declared for the 2020 NBA draft.  Ultimately, Kispert decided to return for his senior season, averaging 18.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, helping lead the Zags to the national championship game with a 31-1 record. He was named to the Preseason All-West Coast Conference team.
