CRISTA CFO Doug Sutten Named Puget Sound Business Journal “CFO of the Year” Honoree

CRISTA Ministries’ Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Doug Sutten has been named one of seven financial strategists recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as their CFO of the Year honorees for 2016. He is joined in this prestigious commendation by his fellow CFO’s at Microsoft, the Port of Seattle, Bloodworks Northwest, Bensussen, Deutsch & Associates, ExtraHop Networks and Chef Software.

In his nearly two year at CRISTA, Doug’s impact on the family of ministries has been substantial. He has revamped the organization’s budgeting process and generated a new energy to CRISTA’s investment strategy. His focus on looking forward in financial planning and analysis has been such a valuable addition to CRISTA’s long-term strategic thinking.

“Doug’s contributions have made it no surprise to me that he has received this notable honor,” said CEO Bob Lonac. “And yet what I love more about him is who he is as a person and brother in Christ. Day in and day out he exemplifies the traits of a CRISTA leader.”

Doug and his fellow CFO of the Year honorees were officially recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal at their 10th annual award ceremony on March 10.
